Dear Parents and Carers
The children are now all settled and used to the routines and expectations in Nursery. We are now regularly visiting the library to choose a book to take home and visiting the Forest School as well as having PE, maths and phonics sessions.
This half term our topic is 'Splish Splash'. We have been thinking about the weather, investigating floating and sinking and hearing lots of stories about boats and water.
In Funky Fingers at the beginning of each morning the children practise their fine motor skills to prepare them for writing. Activities include cutting, playdough, using Lego, threading and writing.
We would like to do some cooking on Fridays soon. If you are interested in helping us please go to the office to organise a DBS check, get two references and then see us to sign up on the rota.
Magical Moments sheets are available in the cloakroom, so if your child does something special that you are proud of at home, please use these to tell us about it.
Thank you for your continued support.

Tidy Up Song
Some parents have asked about the song we use for tidy up time. It can be found on You Tube by searching for 'Dave Moran Tidy Up Song'.
