Cassiobury Infant and Nursery School

Learning together, growing together; inspiring our children in their journey through life.

Eco-Schools

Our Eco-School Committee is made up of School Council members from KS1 and Eco-warriors from EYFS - one boy and one girl are elected from each class.

The Eco Committee

The Committee meet at least once a month and include children from Nursery to Year 2. At committee meetings we discuss the school Eco Action plan and collaboratively work towards achieving the targets. Eco members take pride in keeping Cassiobury Infant & Nursery School looking clean and litter free and help to litter pick on the field and playground.

The Eco-Schools Awards:

The Eco-Schools Green Flag is an internationally recognised award for excellence in environmental action and learning. You can work up to Green Flag level by achieving Bronze and Silver awards which are self-accredited stepping stones along the way. Each Eco-School around the world follows the same international Seven Steps. Eco-Schools England have adapted the Seven Step criteria to make sure that early years settings can work towards and achieve their internationally recognised Eco-Schools Green Flag Award.
